MUNSTER Rugby will face Union Bordeaux Bègles in their Investec Champions Cup quarter-final at Stade Chaban Delmas, Bordeaux on Saturday next, April 12 at 3pm Irish time.
Munster secured their passage to the last eight after Saturday’s thrilling 24-25 Round of 16 win over Ronan O'Gara's La Rochelle at Stade Marcel-Deflandre. Bordeaux reached the quarter-finals thanks to a 43-31 victory over Ulster on Sunday.
MRSC members and 10-year ticket holders will be contacted on Monday with a dedicated ticket link to purchase tickets.
Munster say that there will be a limit of six tickets per transaction and all ticketing queries should be directed to Bordeaux Bègles.
Tries from Craig Casey, Gavin Coombes and Andrew Smith, in addition to 10 points from the boot of Jack Crowley, including a crucial second half drop goal, set Munster on their way to a famous European win on the road.
Should Munster overcome Bordeaux in their quarter-final next weekend, they will face either RC Toulon or Stade Toulousain in the semi-finals of the Investec Champions Cup on the weekend of May 2-4.
Leinster will host Glasgow Warriors in another quarter-final at the Aviva Stadium on Friday evening next, 8pm kick-off.
