THE Munster Rugby squad are continuing preparations at their High Performance Centre at UL ahead of Friday night’s URC Round 12 clash against Edinburgh at Virgin Media Park.

The game kicks off at 7.35pm and will be an 8,800 sell-out with a small number of tickets remaining.

On the injury front, there is good news for Jeremy Loughman (hip) and Alex Nankivell (hamstring) as they both return to training this week.

Following the Ireland A game against England A on Sunday, Shane Daly (hamstring) and Oli Jager (foot) will both go for scans this week. Diarmuid Barron was removed as a precaution and has completed all HIA protocols.

Tom Ahern is completing the return to play protocols after a failed HIA against Scarlets.

Jack O’Donoghue does not require surgery on the ankle injury he sustained against Scarlets and has started his rehabilitation.

Continuing to Rehab: Diarmuid Kilgallen (thigh), Mike Haley (ankle), Dave Kilcoyne (thigh), Thaakir Abrahams (shoulder), Craig Casey (knee), Jean Kleyn (thigh), Liam Coombes (chest), Patrick Campbell (shoulder), Edwin Edogbo (Achilles), Roman Salanoa (knee).
