THE Munster Rugby squad has started preparations at their High Performance Centre at UL ahead of Friday’s Investec Champions Cup, Round 2 clash with Castres Olympique at Stade Pierre-Fabre, 8pm Irish time, live on Premier Sports.
Munster report no fresh injury concerns following the weekend’s bonus-point win over Stade Francais at Thomond Park with Calvin Nash and Shane Daly both passing their respective HIAs.
There is good news for for province as props Oli Jager (neck) and Dave Kilcoyne (ankle) both return to full team training with a view to return to play this week.
Second-row Jean Kleyn (neck) is said to be progressing well with his return to play but remains unavailable for this week's trip to France.
Ireland international scrum-half Conor Murray is unavailable due to an elbow injury but Munster report that the Limerick man is expected to return to play 'in the coming weeks'.
Along with the 23 players in Champions Cup action on Saturday, there were 16 Munster players in AIL action at the weekend.
