Munster Rugby out-half Billy Burns
THE Munster Rugby squad is preparing at the High Performance Centre at UL ahead of Saturday’s BKT URC round 2 clash against Zebre in Italy, 3pm kick-off Irish time, live on RTÉ.
Out-half Billy Burns was removed with a shoulder injury during the 35-33 interprovincial derby win over Connacht at Thomond Park on Saturday and will go for a scan. The Ireland international's availability for Saturday will be determined later in the week.
There is good news for Limerick prop Dave Kilcoyne as he returns to full training this week.
However, Munster report that Patrick Campbell suffered a shoulder injury while in energia All-Ireland League Division 1A action for Young Munster against UCD on Saturday and will have a specialist review.
Continuing to Rehab: Diarmuid Kilgallen (leg), Brian Gleeson (shoulder), Cian Hurley (knee), Tom Ahern (ankle), Rory Scannell (ankle), Paddy Patterson (knee), Edwin Edogbo (achilles), Roman Salanoa (knee).
