THE N18 in Limerick that was closed this Wednesday due to a car fire has reopened.
A car fire had blocked two lanes of the busy roadway in Limerick this Wednesday afternoon, causing the road to be closed.
Limerick Fire Service and other emergency services attended the scene of the car fire that occurred on the N18 and was closed southbound – the carriageway towards the M7 – between the Limerick Tunnel and J2 Dock Rd due to the incident.
It occurred after 2.30pm.
Four units from Mulgrave Street were dispatched to the scene.
