Gardai launch appeal for witnesses following injury of cyclist in hit-and-run in Limerick suburb

LIMERICK gardai are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was injured in a hit-and-run collision in Castletroy.

Sergeant Michelle O’Halloran, Crime Prevention Officer at Henry Street Garda Station said:

"Gardaí at Henry Street are investigating a hit-and-run incident involving a cyclist and a red car. This occurred at the pedestrian crossing at Kilmurry Roundabout, Castletroy, Limerick, at approximately 21.50 hours on Tuesday week, the 18th of November."

"It’s a very busy area with a high volume of both pedestrian and vehicular traffic, so we believe there are potential witnesses who may have seen the collision or have relevant information. We are particularly interested in speaking with any motorists who may have dash-cam footage from that time," added Sgt O'Halloran.
