A SISTER of Scarlett Faulkner has written an emotional post about the Limerick mum-of-one, who remains in a critical condition in hospital, this Wednesday.

A woman and a girl, 16, who have been charged in connection with the serious assault of Scarlett, aged 29, in Birdhill last Saturday week, appeared in court, via-videolink, earlier this Wednesday.

Victoria Faulkner - one of Scarlett’s 15 siblings from the northside of Limerick city - wrote on Facebook: “Sister, you are a good person and God knows you are.”

The touching post, accompanied by multiple love hearts and prayer emojis, says “I know God has bigger plans for you and your little princess”.

Victoria asks everyone to “keep praying” for Scarlett.

“I love you with all my heart. Everyone’s prayers are appreciated. Thanks so much.”

The post is accompanied by a number of photos of Scarlett surrounded by candles in a church and at a shrine.
