THE Relegation issue in the Premier League is finally figured out as Geraldines last minute winner condemned Coonagh Utd to the Premier A League for next season.
Geraldines took the lead through Tony Mambuana but Coonagh, needing a win, responded well and Ger Myles scored goals either side of the break to put the home side in front.
Ousman Darboe levelled the tie 15 minutes from time and with Coonagh chasing a winner, ‘Dines broke away and Mambuana netted to put the final nail in the Coonagh coffin.

In the Premier A League, Hyde’s promotion hopes took a blow when they went down 2-1 to Caherdavin Celtic. Hyde Rgs took the lead through Ben Kennedy but goals from Alan Neill and Stephen O’Halloran gave the home side the points.
At the other end of the table, Moyross and Prospect picked up an important point in their games with Aisling and Corbally respectively.
Charles Hogan and Reece Kelly scored for Prospect in Annacotty while Moyross and Corbally shared 12 goals in a crazy game.
Cian Power (2), Jake Murphy, Ger Johnson, Lee Quinn and Danny Sheehan scored for Moyross; Jack Fitzgerald (2), Shane Cox, Michael White, Klorane Tabot-Ndip and Alan Doherty replied.
Scores from Glen Mitchell, Famara Kassana, Sean Markham and Danny Taylor gave Athlunkard Villa a 4-1 win over Summerville Rvs.
In Division 1A League, Southend secured promotion to the Premier A League following a 4-0 win at Caherconlish. Alan Keane scored three and Dean Hogan was also on the mark for Southend, who are now favourites to be crowned champions.
Zak Sheehan and Conor Mc Namara scored for Granville Rgs in 2-1 win over Holycross.
The top of the table clash in Division 1B League left no doubt as to who is favourite to land the title following Aisling Annacotty D’s 4-0 win over second placed Corbally Utd B.
Liam Danaher, Alan Rossiter, Emmanuel Ajuong and Sean Reeves Wasik were the winning marksmen.
Alex Gardas scored for Nenagh B in a1-1 draw with Wembley Rvs while Lisnagry took the points in a 2-1 win over Newport. Caolan Dignam and Jordan Clancy scored the winning goals.
Herbertstown strengthened their grip on the lead in Div 2A League following a 7-0 win at Hyde Rgs B. Goals from Kevin Meade 2, David Hannon 2, Mike Leahy, Keith O’Connor, and Oisin O Grady secured the win.
Two goals from Leonard Plunkett and one from Cian O’Connell helped Abbey Rvs to a 3-2 win over Aisling Annacotty C while Meanus edged out Coonagh in a nine-goal thriller.
Conor Burke 2, Joe Hay, Peadar McCarthy and Darragh O Keefe scored for the winners. Jeff Ryan (2), Ralph Leonard and Rory Barry replied for Coonagh.
Pike Rvs B maintained their promotion hopes with a 2-0 win at Kilmallock B. Shane Franklin and Cian O’Halloran scored for the Hoops.
Ballynanty Rvs reached their second final of the season. Following their Munster Shield success, the Blues beat Cappamore 2-1 to reach the Div 2B Cup decider. Kevin Nolan and Kenneth Meehan were the winning goal scorers.
Holycross were crowned Youth Div 2 champions on Tuesday evening when they got the required points at Shelbourne.
The county side were frustrated by a dogged Shel’s defence before Adam Cusack broke the deadlock with a second half free kick. Paudie Hennessy added the crucial second before the end.
In the Youth Div 1 League, Pike Rvs kept up their title charge with a 5-1 win over Mungret Reg
Shane Walters scored four to bring his tally for the season to a whopping 50 goals. Josh Mullaney also netted for the winners.
