The U16A camogie team that will take on Cork in the Munster Final tomorrow, Saturday, in Fethard Astro Turf
TWO LIMERICK U16 camogie teams will face Cork in the U16A and B Munster Finals in Fethard Astro Turf tomorrow, Saturday, April 13 at 4:15 and 5:45pm.
The U16A beat Tipperary 0-11 to 0-07 in the preliminary round of the Munster Final. Building on that they welcomed Waterford to Mountcollins to play the Munster semi-final where after playing in tough conditions they came away winners on a score line of 0-12 to 1-03. This secured them a spot in the Munster Final where they will take on Cork in a repeat of last years Munster Final. Limerick will be looking to defend their Munster title on Saturday.
Starting their Munster campaign the U16B, they played Tipperary in the preliminary round. A very close game throughout where the girls had to come from being behind to get the win on a score line of Limerick 2-10 Tipperary 2-08. Kerry were the next challenge as Limerick travelled to Knocknaure where they beat Kerry by 2-10 to 2-04.
Limerick, much like their Cork counterparts, will be hoping to win the double on Saturday in Fethard.
