Limerick U20 football team to face Clare in crucial Munster championship fixture named

THE Limerick U20 football team to face Clare in this Saturday's crucial EirGrid Munster U20 Football Championship round robin fixture at Ballyagran, 2pm, has been named.

Limerick have taken three points from their opening two fixtures, following a draw against Tipperary in Fethard with a 2-7 to 2-6 victory over Waterford at Ballyagran last weekend.

Limerick and Tipperary sit on top of the table with three points each, while Clare are on two points. Victory for Limerick over the Banner this weekend would see them join Cork, Kerry and one more team in Phase 2 of the championship.
