PICTURES: Hurling fans support Limerick at Allianz League semi-final clash with Kilkenny

THOUSANDS of Limerick hurling fans made the trip to SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork on Saturday for their Allianz Hurling League semi-final clash with Kilkenny.

The game ended in defeat for John Kiely's Limerick side who relinquished their Division 1 Allianz Hurling League semi-final as a result.

Limerick's focus will now switch to the start of the Munster senior hurling championship round robin phase next month and a Sunday, April 21 opening round meeting with Clare at Cusack Park in Ennis.

Photographer Brendan Gleeson was at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh for the Limerick Leader on Saturday to capture all colour and excitement from the big game.
