IN PICTURES: Scoil Pól Kilfinane players and supporters celebrate All-Ireland hurling final win

LIMERICK'S Scoil Pól, Kilfinane were crowned Masita All-Ireland Post Primary Senior 'C' hurling champions following a deserved 0-16 to 1-8 victory over Coláiste Mhuire, Ballygar in Tulla on Friday last.

This was an excellent team success for Kilfinane, who had a tremendous spread of clubs, including players from nine Limerick clubs in the starting XV. The side were joint-captained by Shane Fitzgibbon, of Dromin Athlacca, and Charleville’s Kristian O’Gorman, whose points scoring was key to this win.

Photographer Brendan Gleeson was on hand to capture all the colour and excitement from the day for the Limerick Leader.
