Munster Schools Senior and Junior Cup fixtures confirmed for Limerick sides

THE fixture details for the opening two rounds of the Pinergy Munster Schools Boys Senior Cup and Munster Schools Boys Junior Cup have been confirmed with four Limerick schools in action this Thursday.

In Round 1 of the Pinergy Munster Schools Boys Senior Cup, Castletroy College will take on local rivals Ardscoil Rís in Liam Fitzgerald Park this Thursday, January 11 at 1pm.

Villiers beat High School CBS Clonmel in the Senior Cup qualifier last month and they will now take on Glenstal Abbey in the other Round 1 clash. The second all-Limerick derby will also be played this Thursday, January 11 at 3.30pm in ULs North Campus.

FOR the Munster Schools Boys Junior Cup, High School CBS Clonmel won the the Junior Cup qualifier against Coláiste Pobail Bheanntraí last month and they will now take on Glenstal Abbey in Round 1 on Friday, January 19 at 2pm with the venue to be confirmed soon.

Crescent College Comprehensive will meet Rockwell College in the other first round tie and this will be played on Wednesday,  January 17 at 2.30pm with the venue to be confirmed soon.
