Donal O'Sullivan, who has announced his inter-county retirement

LIMERICK senior football joint captain, Donal O’Sullivan has confirmed his decision to retire from inter-county football.
The news that experienced Monaleen clubman O’Sullivan is retiring from inter county football will be greeted with great disappointment by Limerick football supporters.
Goalkeeper O'Sullivan has been one of Limerick’s most consistent performers over many years and has been a true leader of the Limerick senior footballers with many inspirational performances.
O'Sullivan's decision was confirmed on Limerick GAA social media channels this Thursday evening.
The Limerick GAA Board paid tribute to the netminder.
Limerick GAA Football Chairman Wayne Fitzgerald paid a glowing tribute.
He wrote: “Donal has been a fantastic servant to Limerick GAA and has been a role model to so many present and upcoming Limerick footballers, we wish him well in his retirement and thank him for all the wonderful memories he has given to so many Limerick Football fans down through the years."
