Munster Rugby stun Dragons with 'magnificent seven' in URC

CLINICAL Munster returned to winning ways in the United Rugby Championship after recording a comprehensive 45-14 bonus point victory over the Dragons at Musgrave Park on Saturday night.

Munster grabbed seven tries in all, including two for Man of the Match Calvin Nash, as the holders regained top spot in the table.

The home side, who had led 17-7 at half-time, also had tries from Rory Scannell, Gavin Coombes, Thomas Ahern, Craig Casey and Brian Gleeson.

Out-half Tony Butler added four successful conversions, while replacement Jack Crowley added the extra to the second of the Nash tries.

Next up for Munster Rugby is a trip to Belfast on Friday night next to face Ulster in a crucial interprovincial derby in the URC. Kick-off at Kingspan Stadium is 7.35pm.
