BULLETFROMAGUN is now destined for a shot at the BoyleSports Irish Greyhound Derby after winning his 2023 Derby Trial Stake at Limerick Greyhound Stadium on Saturday last.
Owned by Kerry syndicate, Inas Boys Syndicate, and trained by Brendan Maunsell, Bulletfromagun has now secured his spot in the competition for free, when it gets underway in Shelbourne Park on July 28 and 29.
The BoyleSports Irish Greyhound Derby is the most prestigious race in the Irish Greyhound Calendar and boasts a winner’s prize of €125,000 and an overall prizefund of €300,000. The 2023 Derby Final will take place on Saturday, September 2 in Dublin’s Shelbourne Park Greyhound Stadium.
