Action continues this week in Limerick club football championships

THE action continues this week in the Limerick club football championships.

In Group 1 of the Irish Wire Products Limerick senior football championship, Kildimo-Pallaskenry will look to make it two wins from two when facing Oola at Claughaun on Friday evening at 7.30pm.

At the same time, two winners from the opening round, St Kieran's and Newcastle West, go head-to-head in another Group 1 fixture at Askeaton.

The Group 1 action is completed by the meeting of Claughan and Fr Casey's on Sunday evening next, July 9, at Rathkeale at 7.30pm.

The Group 2 fixtures in the senior football championship will see Ballysteen take on Galtee Gaels in Ballyagran on Friday at 7.30pm. At the same time, two sides which suffered narrow defeats in their opening fixtures, Ballylanders and Monaleen, go head-to-head at Bruff.

Also in Group 2, Na Piarsaigh take on Adare at Mungret on Friday at 7.30pm.

In Group 1 of the Griffin Coaches Limerick intermediate football championship, Pallasgreen take on Mungret-St Paul's in Claughaun on Thursday at 7.30pm, while at the same time Rathkeale take on Dromcollogher-Broadford at Newcastle West.

Then, on Friday night, Glin take on Gerald Griffins in Athea at 7.30pm.

The fixtures in Group 2 of the intermediate championship will see St Patrick's face Castlemahon at Askeaton on Thursday evening at 7.30pm, while Crecora-Manister take on St Senan's at Rathkeale on the same evening also at 7.30pm.
