IRELAND U20s made it two wins from two in the U20 Six Nations championship after securing a thrilling 33-31 victory over France U20s at Musgrave Park on Friday night.
A 77th minute penalty goal from the boot of out-half Sam Prendergast helped Ireland back up their opening round victory away to Wales with a thrilling home success at the sold-out Cork venue.
Ireland, who led 20-14 at half-time, scored three tries in all through Paddy McCarthy and Hugh Gavin in the opening half, while Munster Rugby back-row Brian Gleeson dotted down in the second half.
Match-winner Prendergast scored 18 points in all for Richie Murphy's young guns.
