County final pairings confirmed in Limerick Ladies Football Club Championships

VENUES AND TIMES have been revealed ahead of the Limerick Senior and Intermediate Ladies Football Championship county finals.

The last two senior county champions St Ailbes and Monagea meet in the senior ladies football county final on Sunday October 5 in Knocklong at 3:30pm.

2023 county champions Monagea edged past Old Mill 1-9 to 1-4 in the Limerick ladies football championship semi-final on last Sunday afternoon .Reigning county champions St Ailbes and Dromcollogher Broadford were deadlocked 1-9 to 0-12 after extra time in the other senior semi-final. It took free kicks to decide this contest and it was St Ailbes who won the shooutout 3-0.

All-Ireland junior champions Mungret St Paul's defeated Ballylanders 2-12 to 0-11 in the senior B semi-final. Feohanagh Castlemahon had too much for Oola in the other senior B semi-final winning out 3-11 to 1-6. Mungret St Paul's and Feohanagh Castlemahon will now meet in the senior B semi-final. The senior football championship relegation final will see the meeting of Ballylanders and Oola.

Fr Casey's and Knockainey will both be aiming to make the jump up to senior football championship when they meet in the Intermediate championship final on Sunday October 5 in Knocklong at 12:30pm. Casey's just did enough to get past Murroe Boher, while Knockainey edged past Galtee Gaels last weekend.
