Second round of Limerick ladies football championship fixtures set to get underway

ROUND two of the 3Dental Limerick ladies senior football championship begins this Wednesday evening as Dromcollogher Broadford host Oola at 7pm. Drom Broadford will be aiming for a win after they fell short to Monagea in their opening round fixture as Oola came away with a draw against Feohanagh/Castlemahon in their first game of the camapaign. 

Old Mill will host St Ailbes on Thursday evening at 7pm in their second round fixture.

The rest of the senior championship games take place on Saturday evening as Feohanagh/Castlemahon host Monagea and Ballylanders play Galtee Gaels. All games kick-off at 7pm. 

Intermediate championship will also all be played on Saturday evening at 7pm with Mungret St Paul's opening their championship with an away fixture to St Brigid's, who lost their first game to Adare last weekend. Adare will receive a bye in this round of games. In group one Athea host Fr Casey's and Murroe Boher face Knockainey. 

The Junior A championship round two fixtures are set to get underway on Thursday, August 15 also at 7pm. Pallasgreen will be flying high after their incredible victory in the opening round as they host Croom. St Ailbes will be aiming to bounce back as they take on Ahane and finally Monaleen play St Senan's.

Junior B will take a weekend off with the second round of fixtures taking place on Saturday, August 24.
