Limerick Ladies Football team confirmed for crucial All-Ireland Championship clash

THE Limerick team has been named for Sunday's TG4 All-Ireland Junior Championship tie.

Limerick entertain Kilkenny in Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale at 2pm this June 30 in the knowledge that victory will confirm a semi-final spot.

Last year’s beaten finalists Limerick have home advantage against Kilkenny and could yet top the Group B standings but only if they win big and Longford get the better of Louth.

Before play gets underway on Sunday, Louth lead the way on six points and with a +26 scoring difference. The Wee County are three points clear of both Limerick (+1 scoring difference) and Longford (+4).

Limerick's joint-managers Sean Kiely and Michael Quilligan have announced their line-up and Irish Kennelly returns to the full forward line after missing the last game against Louth. Kennelly replaces Katie Heelan.
