FAIRVIEW Rangers supporters turned out in foce for their club's clash against Mervue United in the FAI Junior Cup last Sunday. 

Fairview Rangers qualified for the quarter-final after securing a 1-0 victory over Galway side Mervue United at The Fairgreen on Sunday. The winning goal arrived courtesy of Oleg Vysochan’s on 25 minutes. 

Fairview Rangers will make the long trip to Donegal to take on Fanad United at the quarter-final stage next month, while fellow Limerick District League side, Janesboro, are on the road to Dublin to take on either Old County or Lucan United in their last eight tie.

Should the two Limerick District League sides come through their respective quarter-final fixtures, they would face-off in the semi-finals of the FAI Junior Cup.

The semi-finals are due to be played on the weekend of March, 30.
