The Limerick Masters hurling team who took on Dublin in a recent challenge match
THE Limerick Masters hurling and football teams have both been in action recently as the countdown to their championship fare continue.
In hurling, Limerick take on Kildare on Saturday, April 25 in Kilcock at 1pm in their Championship opener.
As they prepare for this clash, the side managed by Mike Flynn of Na Piarsaigh and coached by Francie O'Halloran recently took on Dublin in a challenge match.
The footballers have have six group games starting with a trip to Cork on May 9 before hosting Waterford two weeks later.
The side managed by Liam Mulcahy and Paul Darmody continued their Championship preparations with a challenge match against Kerry on Good Friday in Abbeyfeale.
