Darragh Langan starts at full-back for Limerick in Saturday evening's Round 6 Allianz Hurling League fixture with Galway at the TUS Gaelic Grounds

THE Limerick senior hurling side to face Galway in a crucial Allianz Hurling League Division 1A clash at the TUS Gaelic Grounds has been named.

The final round group fixture throws in at 7pm and will be live on TG4 TV.

A win for John Kiely's men in this weekend's televised clash will seal a place in the league final for the Shannonsiders - most likely against Cork - to be played on the first weekend of April.

The Shannonsiders come into the game after four consecutive league wins.

Monaleen's Darragh Langan is named at full-back in the side to face the Tribesmen, where he is flanked by the experienced Sean Finn and Barry Nash.

Mike Casey is listed among the substitutes for the game.

Speaking ahead of the game with Galway, Limerick manager John Kiely said: “The mood in the camp is obviously good. You can see it, by the way, they’re hurling, number one, which is the most important

“They're enjoying their hurling, and they've worked hard over those couple of months to make sure that they're in a position to do that."

Kiely added the games promises to be a 'great challenge' against the 'Tribesmen' who are "playing exceptionally well".
