Ó'Dálaigh has been in fine form in Limerick opening two Munster Hurling League matches, scoring 2-2 against Clare in Tulla last weekend before hitting another 1-3 against Cork last night.
Speaking to TG4 after the game, the Monaleen sharpshooter was happy with his side's display.
"We knew it would be a tough game here tonight against Cork, it's a couple of weeks out from the league so we knew that if we put in a good performance and get a good work out, that it would really stand to us in the next couple of weeks.
"It was great to see a few of the young lads come in as well, John English especially, these lads are only in with us the last three weeks and they're all flying it so it's great to see them come in."

Ó'Dálaigh also praised the Munster Hurling League, stressing that the competition is crucial in fine tuning skills and fitness levels after a break over the festive period.
"It's always great to have this competition, you really get to fine tune your skills and get up to the pitch of the game before the league and championship starts. It's great to have these games and they are really competitive games when you're playing the likes of Clare and Cork.
"If it's the starting 15 or the 26, there's always savage competition for places on this panel. Every chance you get, starting or coming on in these games, you have to put your hand up and give the management team difficult decisions to make.
The Limerick corner-forward was quick to dismiss any claims that there isn't enough talent coming through the ranks within the county.
"You can see tonight that there are five or six lads who this is only their first year on the panel and I thought between this game and the Clare game, the standard has been excellent. You wouldn't be thinking it's the beginning of January with the quality of hurling on display.
"These young lads are driving on the standards in training and it's nice for them to get to play in front of a large crowd here tonight and a large crowd out in Tulla last week, they're getting their chance to put their hands up."
On his own performance, a fine display which saw Ó'Dálaigh notch 1-3, the Monaleen man was delighted to contribute to what was a stellar team performance.
"It was nice to chip in with a few points, set up a few scores and obviously the goal is a nice bonus too."
