GROUPS one and two came to an end in the Whitebox Limerick Senior Hurling Championship on Saturday evening.County champions Doon and Na Piarsaigh have both advanced directly into the Limerick senior hurling championship semi-finals. The sides cannot meet each other until the county final if they both get there.

Ballybrown, Kilmallock, Monaleen and Adare have all booked their place into the Limerick SHC quarter-finals. The draw for the quarter-finals takes place this evening, Ballybrown and Kilmallock will be in one bowl and Monaleen and Adare will be in the other bowl. Both quarter-finals will take place this weekend.

Na Piarsaigh continued their unbeaten run in this year's SHC with a comfortable 2-26 to 2-14 victory over Patrickswell.
Adrian Breen was in impressive scoring form hitting 1-7 for the Caherdavin outfit. Patrickswell had already suffered relegation into group two before their defeat to Na Piarsaigh. The ‘Well were without Aaron Gillane and Cian Lynch who were both sidelined through injury.

Ballybrown issued a statement defeating Kilmallock 4-20 to 1-19 in Newcastle West. Ross Kenny, Mikey Kiely, Leigh Doolan and Barry Adams all hit the net for Ballybrown in their ten-point victory.

Kilmallock's Micheal Houlihan was forced off early on with an injury. Meanwhile, former Limerick hurler Graeme Mulcahy wasn't fit enough to line out for the South Limerick club.

Doon hung on for a narrow 0-23 to 1-18 win over Ahane in Cappamore. Ahane's Tom Morrissey had a penalty saved by Doon goalkeeper Darragh Stapelton late on which ultimately proved to be the difference between the sides.

Monaleen, who had already secured promotion to group one for the 2026 season, had to settle for a draw against Kildimo-Pallaskenry.

Adare produced a late comeback against Newcastle West, with a penalty from John Fitzgibbon deep in injury time seeing Mark Foley's side edge past their opponents 2-17 to 1-18.Former Limerick captain Declan Hannon limped off with an ankle injury in the second half.

Mungret St Paul's defeated Dromin-Athlacca 1-21 to 1-15 in Bruff on Saturday. It wasn't enough for Mungret St Paul's who narrowly missed out on a place in the quarter-finals, however, Dromin-Athlacca's defeat means that they will play in the premier intermediate hurling championship next year.
