Limerick senior hurler Shane O'Brien, Sportsfile
AFTER Limerick were knocked out of the All-Ireland senior hurling championship by Dublin, five members of the senior hurling panel have made the move to America to play hurling this summer.
Cathal O'Neill, Shane O'Brien, Eddie Stokes, Adam English, and Patrick O'Donovan are all competing in the American hurling championships this summer. Doon's Adam English and Eddie Stokes will line out for Galway Boston this summer. Their clubmate Chris Thomas is also playing for Galway Boston this summer.
Mary Immaculate College student Shane O'Brien is currently representing the Fr. Tom Burkes club in Boston. Jimmy Quilty who was previously part of the Limerick senior hurling panel has also joined up with Fr. Tom Burkes.

Meanwhile, Cathal O'Neill and Patrick O'Donovan are playing in San Francisco this summer. Cathal O’Neill has linked up with the Tipperary club in San Francisco for the summer, with Patrick O’Donovan has headed stateside to play with Na Fianna in San Francisco.
The Limerick stars in America still have time to return for the Limerick Club Hurling Championship at the start of August.
