AFTER Limerick's defeat to Dublin last weekend in the All-Ireland senior hurling championship quarter-final, members of the senior hurling panel will now return to their clubs in the coming weeks.
The club hurling championships across the seven grades are likely to get underway at the start of August. It is set to be a hectic schedule for some of the inter-county players playing a minimium of six to seven group games acorss the senior, premier intermediate and intermediate grades.
County champions Doon will face last year's runner-ups Na Piarsaigh, Kilmallock, Patrickswell, Ballybrown and Ahane in group one of the senior hurling championship. Monaleen, Kildimo-Pallaskenry, Dromin-Athlacca, Mungret St Paul's, Adare and premier intermediate county champions Newcastle West will compete in Group Two of the senior hurling championship.

South Liberties who were relegated from the senior ranks will face Blackrock, Bruff, Croagh-Kilfinny, Garryspillane, Granagh-Ballingarry, Effin and Glenroe in the Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship.
Group one in the Intermediate Hurling Championship consists of Bruree, Croom, Feenagh-Kilmeedy, Mungret St Paul's, Cappamore and Hospital-Herbertstown. Meanwhile, Na Piarsaigh, Feohanagh-Castlemahon, Murroe-Boher, Pallasgreen, Knockainey and St Kieran's are in group two of the Intermediate Hurling Championship.
After Limerick footballers success in the Tailteann Cup, dual clubs could face ten games in eleven weekends.The club football championship gets underway on July 17.
Premier Junior Hurling Championship Group One: St Patrick's, Monagea, Askeaton-Kilcornan, Tournafulla, Crecora-Manister and Monaleen.
Premier Junior Hurling Championship Group two: Kilmallock, Knockaderry, Kilteely-Dromkeen, Doon, Caherline and Dromcollogher-Broadford.
