THE DRAW was made yesterday afternoon for the preliminary quarter-finals of the Harty Cup. 

Limerick school John The Baptist CS have been drawn against St Flannans in the last 12 of the Munster post-primary U19 hurling competition. 

De La Salle College face Neenagh CBS, Thurles CBS take on Our Lady's Templemore and Blackwater Community School meet Gaelcholáiste Mhuire AG in the three remaining Harty Cup preliminary quarter-finals. 

All four games take place on Wednesday December 4. 

John The Baptist Community School finished in second place in group one of the Dr Harty Cup. The Hospital outfit defeated Rice College and played out a draw with Doon during the group stages. CBC Cork got the better of John The Baptist in their final group game. 

Cashel Community School, Midleton CBS, CBC Cork and Ardscoil Rís have all advanced directly into the quarter-finals of the Harty Cup which take place on January 8. 

Hugh Flanagan and Diarmuid Hurley are key players for Michael Martin's side. Flanagan was part of the Limerick U20 team this year and Hurley captained the Limerick minor hurlers.
