LIMERICK could be set to have four home games in next season's restructured Allianz Hurling League.

The provisional fixtures have been released to County Board officials, who have until November 14 to request changes.

Seven teams will compete in Division one of the National Hurling League. Limerick, Galway, Clare, Tipperary, Cork, Kilkenny and Wexford will all compete in Divsion one of the National Hurling League.

In 2024, the Shannonsiders had no home games due to the redevelopment of the playing surface at the TUS Gaelic Grounds.

John Kiely's side now look set to have four home games against All-Ireland champions Clare, Tipperary Galway and Wexford.
It looks as if Limerick will face Cork and Kilkenny in their away trips during the National League.The National Hurling League is set to go underway on the weekend of January 25/26.

Each team gets a minimium of six games and the team that finishes in first and second place compete in the Division one league final.The team that finish sixth and seventh will be relegated to Division 1B, while first and second place from Division 1B will be promoted into Division 1A.

The Limerick hurlers brought the curtain down on the 2024 season on Friday when the 37-man panel were presented with their Munster Championship medals at a ceremony in the Strand Hotel.

Limerick created history by becoming the first team to win six Munster championship titles in-a-row.The reigning Munster champions will look to create more history in 2025 and win their seventh provincial title in-a-row.

The 2023 All-Ireland champions open their campaign against Tipperary in Thurles on the weekend of April 20.Two weeks later, Limerick take on Waterford in Walsh Park on the weekend of the May 4/5.

Limerick will look to get revenge on Cork in round three of the Munster SHC at the TUS Gaelic Grounds on the weekend of May 18.Cork were the only team to beat Limerick in the championship in 2024.The Rebels defeated Limerick in the Munster SHC round-robin series and the All-Ireland semi-final.

Limerick will finish off their round-robin campaign against All-Ireland champions Clare at home on the weekend of the May 25.

Limerick GAA officials have confirmed that a new jersey for the season ahead will be unveiled on Friday.

In the recent weeks, Graeme Mulcahy has announced his retirement from inter-county hurling.

John Kiely has freshened up his backroom team ahead of the 2025 season.Kiely will continue as manager on a two year term. Paul Kinnerk will also continue as coach of the team on a two year term. Alan Cunningham and John Flavin will continue their role as selectors. Cappamore native Liam Cronin has been added to the backroom team for 2025 season. Adrian O'Brien will take up the role as Strength & Conditioning coach.
