BRUFF, Effin, Newcastle West and Garryspillane have all advanced into this year's Premier intermediate hurling championship semi-finals. 

Newcastle West won six of their seven group games during the Premier intermediate hurling championship. The Magpies have finished top of the table on 12 points.

Garryspillane and Bruff have both finished on 10 points. Both sides won five games and suffered two defeats during the Premier intermediate championship group stage. Effin finished in fourth place on eight points. 

Newcastle West will now meet Effin in the first Premier intermediate hurling championship semi-final. Garryspillane take on Bruff in the second semi-final. Both semi-finals are fixed for October 12/13 in Kilmallock. The Premier intermeidate hurling championship final has been fixed for TUS Gaelic Grounds on Sunday, October 27. 

Granagh-Ballingarry narrowly missed out on a place in this year's semi-finals. Effin defeated Granagh-Ballingarry in round five and that result got Effin through on the head to head rule. 

Blackrock finished their group campaign on a high. The Rockies narrowly defeated table toppers Newcastle West in Ballyagran on Saturday afternoon.

Glenroe have secured their Premier intermediate status for the 2025 season. Na Piarsaigh have been relegated to intermediate hurling.
