FIVE games take place in the Limerick Senior Hurling Championship this week.

In group two, Kildimo Pallaskenry face South Liberties on Thursday evening at 6:30pm in Clarina. Kildimo Pallaskenry will look to record their third win of the SHC against South Liberties and Natal O'Grady's side are still in the hunt to reach the last six.

Shaun Barry and Liam Griffin impressed scoring 0-9 for the City based club in their three point victory over Dromin Athlacca last week. South Liberties are yet to record a win in this year's Championship. Liberties produced a battling performance against Ballybrown and Albert McSweeney can take a huge amount of positives from last week's outing.

Na Piarsaigh and Kilmallock meet in Doon at 7pm on Friday evening. The winner of this clash will advance into the semi-final of the SHC. Na Piarsaigh were narrowly pipped by Doon last week. Goalkeeeper Shane Dowling chipped in with 0-3 long range frees. The county champions will be thrilled on the way they fought back after they trailed by 1-8 to 0-5 at the break.

Kilmallock will be hoping to make it three wins on the trot on Friday evening. Peter Queally's side have registered two wins in a row against Mungret St Paul's and Ahane. Shane O'Brien has been on target with 3-7 in the opening three games in the Championship.

The final game of round four in group one of the SHC sees Ahane meet Patrickswell on Friday September 13 in Claughaun at 6pm.

Group two table toppers Ballybrown will look to make it four wins out of four against Adare on Friday in Mick Neville Park at 7pm. Aidan O'Connor has been in sensational form for the city based club where he has scored 0-35 in three games.

Louis Mulqueen will be disappointed by Adare's Championship campaign where they have failed to win a game in the SHC this year. Willie Griffin has been a massive loss through injury.

Dromin Athlacca and Monaleen face off in a huge clash on Friday evening in Cappamore at 6:30pm. Both sides have recorded two victories and suffered a defeat. Monaleen sit in second place, while Drominn Athlacca are in third place. A win will put either club in a fantastic position to reach the knockout stages.
