ROUND two of the Bon Secours Limerick Group B Hurling Championship continues this week.
Dromin-Athlacca, Balybrown and Kildimo Pallaskenry will all look to build up their opening round victories last weekend.
Adare, South Liberties and Monaleen will all look to get things back on track after their opening round defeats.
Opening round winners Ballybrown and Kildimo-Pallaskenry face off on Thursday at Mick Neville Park at 7pm.
Ballybrown recorded an impressive victory over Monaleen on Saturday.
Aidan O'Connor has built on his form from the inter-county season where he was central to his club's victory getting on the scoreboard with 0-10.
Kildimo-Pallaskenry's victory over Adare was a stand-out result given they were without Peter Nash, Cathal Downes and Tony McCarthy who were all sidelined through injury. Kyle Hayes lined out at the edge of square for Kildimo-Pallaskenry and he provided an impressive outlet for his club up front scoring 0-3.
South Liberties and Monaleen will both be looking to get their campaigns back on track on Thursday at 7pm in Fedamore. Both sides know a victory can turn their Championship campaigns around before the three-week break.
Barry Nash returned from injury for South Liberties having missed Limerick's All-Ireland semi-final defeat to Cork.
Nash lined out at wing forward for his club, scoring 0-9, with his cousin Anthony Nash playing in goals.
Monaleen will have some regrets after their opening round defeat to Ballybrown where they registered 13 wides and had five different free takers.
Limerick senior player Donnacha Ó Dálaigh was lively for Eoin Brislane's side scoring 0-3.
Dromin-Athlacca made a successful start on their return to the Senior Hurling Championship.
It was their first time playing senior hurling since 2008.
Last year's Premier Intermediate champions defeated South Liberties by six points. David Reidy was in sensational form scoring 1-14 out of side's 2-23.
Adare meet Dromin-Athlacca in Ballyagran on Saturday at 3pm. Adare suffered an eight-point defeat to Kildimo Pallaskenry. Limerick senior hurling captain Declan Hannon chipped in with 0-2 from midfield.
Louis Mulqueen will know his side need a reaction this weekend if they are to have any chance of progressing into the knockout stages of the senior hurling championship.
After the five rounds of the Senior B hurling championship, the top two teams will advance into the quarter finals of SHC.
The team that finishes bottom of Group 2 of the championship will be relegated to the Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship for 2025.
