Battle lines drawn as county senior hurling club championship gets underway

BATTLE lines have been drawn in the 2024 Bons Secours Hospital County Senior Hurling Championship which was launched yesterday evening. 

The first round of championship fixtures get underway this weekend from Thursday evening through to Saturday. In group one of the championship action gets going on Thursday evening as Doon come up against Kilmallock at 7pm in the TUS Gaelic Grounds. 

Reigning champions Na Piarsaigh will face a repeat of last years championship final as they come up against Patrickswell on Friday, August 2 at 7:30pm in the TUS Gaelic Grounds.

The final game of group one between Mungret St Paul's against Ahane takes place on Saturday in Claughaun GAA at 7pm. 

Dromin Athlacca get their Senior B championship started with a fixture against South Liberties in Killmallock on Thursday evening at 7pm. 

Elsewhere Kildimo Pallaskenry take on Adare on Friday in Mick Neville Park at 7pm and Monaleen face Ballybrown on Saturday in Fedamore at 7pm.
