LIMERICK'S 1984 Minor Hurling team were honoured recently at Na Piarsaigh GAA Club in recognition of their Munster and All-Ireland titles in during that year.
The 1984 Minor side were the only Limerick team since then to capture an All-Ireland hurling title at that age group. The year of 1984 carried much significance in the GAA as the centenary of the association and thus attention was heightened in most championships.
