Mary I come into the game as warm favourites after topping their group with victories over UCC and Maynooth University. Jamie Wall has a fine group of players to pick from with Limerick's Shane O'Brien in excellent form.

Patrickswell's Jason Gillane is also a member of the team, as are Clare duo Diarmuid Ryan and Shane Meehan. Galway's Declan McLaughlin has also been in scintillating form in their two games to date.

TUS Midwest were well beaten by UL in their opening group tie but recovered and reached the quarter-final stages by hammering ATU Galway.

The Jimmy Browne managed Moylish outfit have had Granagh-Ballingarry's Darragh Casey start both games so far and have been backboned by Tipperary's Kyle Shelly, Cian O'Dwyer and Kian O'Kelly.

Competition favourites UL blitzed both teams in the group a scoring aggregate of 39 points in their two games and have a host of Limerick players in their setup. Fergal O'Connor, Colin Coughlan and Adam English have excelled in their two wins.
