LIMERICK will face Kilkenny in the All-Ireland hurling final for the second year in a row after the Cats beat Clare by three points in this afternoon's second semi-final.
John Kiely's side beat Kilkenny in the 2022 decider by two points and it will be the 10th time that the counties will play in an All-Ireland final. The game takes place on Sunday, July 23 at Croke Park. Limerick have already had a win over Kilkenny this year in the Allianz Hurling League Final.
Kilkenny led Clare by five points at half time but the Banner roared back into the game and led by two but Eoin Cody's goal saw the Cats go ahead once more.
A Shane O'Donnell goal levelled the game once again but Kilkenny held out to earn the two-point winning margin. An Eoin Murphy save from a Peter Duggan save late on was key to the victory.
