Referee confirmed for Limerick and Clare Munster hurling final

GALWAY'S Liam Gordon has been appointed as the referee for Sunday week's Munster Senior Hurling Championship final between Limerick and Clare at the TUS Gaelic Grounds.

Gordon was the man in the middle for Limerick's opening Munster SHC clash with Waterford in Thurles back in April and had refereed Limerick twice in the Munster SHC before

He was the man in the middle for Limerick's clash against Tipperary at the TUS Gaelic Grounds in 2022 and when the two sides met in the 2020 Covid affected provincial championship.

The Galway native also officiated the meeting of Limerick versus Tipperary in the Allianz Hurling League semi-final at the Ennis Road venue in March.

Limerick's game with Clare has a 1.45pm throw-in and is live on RTÉ on Sunday, June 11.
