THE race meeting scheduled for Limerick Racecourse today, Tuesday, has fallen victim to the adverse weather with the track deemed unfit for racing following heavy rainfall.

In a post on 'X' this Tuesday morning, Shane Ryder, IHRB clerk of the course at Limerick wrote: "Following a further 12mm of rain overnight, unfortunately Limerick is not unfit for racing as there is water lying on parts of the track.

"The 12mm overnight is on top of the 31mm of rain we've had since entries last Thursday with a further 53mm in the previous two weeks.
