MOYROSS jockey Wesley Joyce shared an easy winner with County Meath-based Mick Mulvany as Dont Do Dramas took the nine-furlong handicap at Ballinrobe on Monday evening last.

A strong 2/1 favourite, the A&J Partnership-owned three-year-old raced up with the pace and gained a definite advantage over a furlong out to beat Johnny Murtagh’s Jack Springs, a 5/2 shot, by two and a quarter lengths.

Eight lengths was the winning margin as Boom Boom Boom landed the two-mile one-furlong rated novice hurdle at Ballinrobe on Tuesday evening. Owned and trained by Ballingarry trainer Charles Byrnes and ridden by his son Philip, the 4/1 chance raced clear from the final hurdle to score in great style from the Peter Croke-trained Miss Gherkin, a third success for the seven-year-old.

Henry de Bromhead sent out two winners at Wexford on Wednesday where he shared his success with jockeys Diarmuid Moloney and Rachael Blackmore. Ardnacrusha conditional Moloney won the two-mile opportunity handicap chase on the 7/2 chance Freddie Robdal. Owned by the Dave Clerkin Racing Club, the seven-year-old came through to lead after the final fence and he went clear to score by three lengths from the Dermot McLoughlin-trained 11/4 favourite Bocelli’s Voice.

Rachael Blackmore made all the running to take the two-mile three-furlong beginners’ chase on the 5/1 shot Kudasheva. The six-year-old raced clear before the second-last fence and had all of 11 lengths to spare over Michael Hourigan’s 9/1 chance Ballywilliam Boy.

Limerick amateur rider Aine O'Connor enjoyed an easy win in the colours of JP McManus as she landed the ladies’ handicap hurdle on Win Some Lose Some at Wexford on Thursday evening.

Trained by Padraig Roche, the 15/8 favourite had any amount in hand as he scored by four and a half lengths from the David Christie-trained 25/1 shot Menindee.

Shanagolden jockey Chris Hayes landed a late winner at Leopardstown on Thursday evening. He took the concluding 15-furlong handicap on the George Kingston-trained Sceptred Isle.

Owned by Noel Nugent, the 12/1 chance came from off the pace to lead inside the final furlong and beat Sean Byrne’s Quiz Test by half a length.

Ballingarry jockey Billy Lee and Paddy Twomey supplied a winning favourite as the three-year-old Firebird won the six-furlong maiden on her Irish debut at Cork on Friday evening. The British import, a very well-supported 4/6 shot, ran out the easiest of winners as she skipped clear inside the final furlong to score by all of five lengths from the Joe murphy-trained 3/1 chance White Clover.

A runner-up with Shaaden in the first division of the seven-furlong handicap, Pat Flynn went a place better to take the second leg of the same race with Harriet Eagle at Gowran Park on Saturday. Ridden by Billy Lee, the 14/1 chance led inside the final furlong to beat the Tom Hogan-trained Share The Treasure by half a length.

An easier winner for punters to find was Aidan O'Brien’s The Euphrates which completed a double for Lee in the Listed Irish Stallion Farms EBF Marble City Stakes. A 6/4 favourite, he made much of the running to beat Jessica Harrington’s 11/4 chance Kinesiology by half a length.
