Limerick eyes up Canadian tourist market

TRAVEL agents from Canada visited Limerick just before Christmas, as >w 8.15pt<part of a Tourism Ireland and Fáilte Ireland initiative.

The aim of the visit was to highlight Ireland as a year-round vacation destination for holidaymakers from the North American country.

>ILIL_PBDY_8pt_Body_Text<>w 8.15pt<Sandra Moffatt, Tourism Ireland’s manager for Canada commented: “Tourism Ireland was delighted to invite this group of Canadian travel agents to visit Limerick and Ireland, to experience at first-hand some of our luxury tourism offering – including our boutique hotels and luxury resorts – as well as our rich culture and heritage, and not forgetting our superb culinary experiences.”
