Gardai in Limerick stop van that hadn't been taxed in 1,432 days

A VEHICLE which has not been taxed in 1,432 days has been seized by Gardai in Limerick.

The van, which was also carrying an unsecured load, was stopped after the vehicle's tax was shown to be nearly four years out of date on the garda mobility app.

The gardai took to Facebook to show the effectiveness of the app, as well as to share information on the correct way to secure a load.
