In a moving tribute, Limerick GAA chairman John Cregan took to Twitter to wish happy birthday to his late daughter Mary.
Mr Cregan wrote, “Our Darling daughter Mary should be enjoying her 34th Birthday today but instead I feel she is enjoying her reward for all the goodness and kindness she brought to others during her 33 years on this earth. Happy Birthday Moll Mam , Dad , Tommy , Mairead.X”

One day after Mary’s passing, an event she had organised to fundraise for cancer research went ahead in the Devon Inn and was a great success
