Norwegian has confirmed it has offered passengers the chance to rebook or receive a full refund free of charge if they no longer wish to travel
NORWEGIAN Airlines has announced that passengers who are scheduled to fly from Shannon and Cork airports to the US early next month will be offered alternative services, and they will now fly out from Dublin.
The airline confirmed this afternoon its Shannon and Cork passengers traveling in early April to US East Coast will be transferred by bus to Dublin airport to catch their flight.
The move comes as the airline awaits new aircraft to replace the temporarily grounded Boeing 737 Max.
The affected flights are from Shannon from April 1- April 10, while Cork flights from April 2- April 9 are included.
The airline announced that it had offered passengers the chance to rebook or receive a full refund free of charge if they no longer wish to travel.
Norwegian airlines is one of many airlines affected by the global grounding of the Boeing 737 MAX fleet following the Ethiopian Airlines crash that saw 157 people loose their lifes. Elsewhere, a Lion Air crash in October killed 189 off the Java Sea near Indonesia.
