Head Concierge of Adare Manor Thomas Russell
THE Head Concierge of the five star Adare Manor in Limerick has received a major award.
Thomas Russell was given the globally recognised accreditation of Les Clefs d’Or.
‘Les Clefs d’Or’, or ‘The Golden Keys’ is a symbol uniting concierges of the most esteemed caliber around the world.
Successful recipients are recognised for their commitment and professionalism as they aim to cater for every guest request. From the seasoned business traveler, to the family on vacation, they provide information and recommendations on tours, dining, shopping, travel and tourism. As well those hidden gems that every city has, and every concierge knows.
Each member is identified by the symbol of the crossed Golden Keys on their uniform lapels. The ‘Keys’, worn by Les Clefs d’Or concierges across the globe, are a guests guarantee that they are in the care of a professional.
Thomas Russell, originally from Mountrath in County Laois, joined Adare Manor in September 2018 and has since become an integral part of the established front-of-house team.
Speaking on the award, Paul Heery, General Manager at Adare Manor, was full of praise for Mr Russell.
“We were delighted for Thomas. Thomas’ leadership and passion for high quality front-of-house is surpassed only by his dedication to the guests and their experience here at Adare Manor. His eye for detail and genuine pride and care for his work is appreciated by guests and colleagues alike. Thomas is a valued member of the team, and a testament to the standards we uphold at our resort,” said Mr Heery.
On receipt of the global accreditation, Mr Russell, Head Concierge at Adare Manor, said the old Irish motto of ‘Cead Mile Fáilte’ stand true at the Adare Manor.
“I am passionate about ensuring each guest welcomed through our doors receive an authentic Cead Mile Fáilte and experience at first hand the award winning Adare Manor ‘beyond everything’ philosophy. I am part of a great team of dedicated professionals here at the resort and being a member of Les Clef d’Or, I look forward to ensuring that our front-of-house team are able to look after guests, anticipate their needs and meet them seamlessly,” said Mr Russell.
The Adare Manor was voted ‘Hotel of the Year 2018’ at the world-renowned global Virtuoso ‘Best of the Best Awards’.
