THE Limerick Leader’s souvenir publication on the Limerick hurlers’ glorious All-Ireland victory is back in shops due to phenomenal demand.

Limerick 2018 History Makers, published by the Limerick Leader, went on sale across the city and county a fortnight ago and was snapped up by dedicated fans. It has returned to shelves this Monday after the initial run sold-out.

“A lot of work went into the publication by our dedicated team in the Leader so it’s great to see that it’s being well received,” said Eugene Phelan, editor, Limerick Leader.

“Another print run has arrived and we have the books back in stock in shops across the city and county as well as the Leader office here at 54 O’Connell Street, Limerick,” Mr Phelan added.

The 156-page publication includes match reports as well as scores of stories which capture the euphoria which enveloped the city and county since Declan Hannon lifted the Liam MacCarthy Cup on August 19.

“When we were putting together the book our main objective was to capture the wonderful sense of joy the win brought to the people of Limerick, young and old. And I think we achieved that through the fabulous human interest stories that came to light across the city and county,” Mr Phelan added.

- Limerick 2018 History Makers priced at €10 is available again now in shops where the Limerick Leader is stocked across the county and city and at the Limerick Leader office, 54 O’Connell Street, Limerick.
