“We’re delighted to be working with Limerick City and County Council and the city’s retailers to showcase a wide range of gift ideas for Christmas and provide inspiration for friends and family,” Ms Holman-Lee affirmed.

Limerick Unwrapped, kicks off on Friday, December 7, in Bowes Ryan Café in Arthur’s Quay at 11am and will then move to Alex Findlater & Co at O’Connell Street at 3pm.

The following day, Saturday, December 8, the market will be in Sodalicious on Lower Cecil Street at 11am and the market move to the Savoy Bar on Henry Street, from 3pm.

Ms Holman-Lee added: “The four locations are really pulling out the stops to ensure the shows will be sensational with lots of free festive treats and we’re really looking forward to showcasing all that Limerick stores have to offer.”

Laura Ryan, Head of Marketing with the Council described the event as “a great opportunity for shoppers to see the huge variety of gift options available in Limerick city stores in a fun and festive environment.”
