Drugs seized this Friday as a result of investigations at premises in Limerick, Tipperary and Cork
THREE men have been arrested, and cash and drugs worth approximately €21,500 have been seized as part of an ongoing investigation targeting the sale and supply of drugs throughout Limerick, Tipperary and Cork.
Gardaí from the Limerick divisional drugs unit, assisted by local units, Revenue Customs officers and the Garda Dog Unit, executed search warrants at a total of 29 premises in Limerick, Tipperary and Cork this Friday.
The focus of this Friday’s investigation was intelligence gathering, involving up to 100 members from An Garda Siochana.
During the operation, three arrests were made, as well as nine detections for possession of drugs, and approximately €7,000 of cocaine and €6,500 cannabis was seized.
A further €8,000 in cash was also seized as a result of the searches.
The three men, who are in their thirties, are currently detained at Henry Street and Bruff Garda Stations under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
