Burst water main causes disruption to hundreds of Limerick city households

HUNDREDS of households in the outskirts of Limerick city are without water this Monday afternoon due to a burst water main, Irish Water has announced. 

The burst water main affects Gouldavoher, The Oval, High Meadow, Racefield and some surrounding estates. 

Repair works are underway and are expected to be completed by 5pm, Irish Water said on its website.
