THERE WAS major traffic disruption in Limerick city when a fault in a Bus Eireann vehicle caused major smoke emissions on the street.
The incident occurred near the Roxboro Road depot on Wednesday night at around 9.50pm.
A spokesperson for Bus Eireann told the Limerick Leader: “Last week, while returning to Roxboro depot, the turbo charger on one of our coaches failed. This failure resulted in a significant puff of smoke emanating from the exhaust.”
He added that because the coach at the time was not in service, no passengers were on board.
